Delivery Options

Depending on the size of the steel shed, we have 3 options for delivery, Home, Depot & Factory Collect.

  • ​Depot Collect

    • With all our sheds, you can opt for a 'Click and Collect' – selecting one of the freight depots in order for you to collect your steel building from once it has been manufactured. We have quite a few pick-up points around Australia.

    • There is a depot delivery fee of $50 to your chosen location.

  • ​Factory Collect

    • We also offer the option to collect from our factory in Crestmead Brisbane, free of charge.

    • You will need to arrange collection before arrival and please be aware products are made to order so won’t be ready on the day you place the order.

  • Home Delivery

    • Home Delivery is organised directly from the factory to your home. It’s a hassle-free option especially since these are large and heavy shed kit boxes.

      • For our garden sheds (Yardstore & Storemate) 

        • We have a standard Home Delivery option for our garden sheds for $105. 

        • Please allow between 5 – 10 Business Days for delivery from Mainfreight (from the date of dispatch).

      • For our Carports, lockers & workshops (UBILD & SMART LOCKERS)

        • Delivery fees are calculated delivery at Checkout. Some sheds/regions you may need to contact for a quote.

​How Shed Delivery Works?

Sheds, workshops, carports and garages are still steel structures that come flat-packed and on pallets. They are heavy and the bigger the product the bigger the delivery cartons. So keeping that in mind, below is what to expect for each delivery option.

  • How Depot Collect Works

    • Once you have selected your product, you can proceed to the checkout and add your address.

    • Simply click on the text "DEPOT COLLECT" in the shipping options and select the depot closest to your area from the drop-down menu. 

    • The nominated depot will notify you once the item is ready for collection – then all you have to do is pick it up.

  • How Home Delivery Works

    • At the checkout, you must add your address first and then select the "HOME DELIVERY" option from the shipping section.

    • The freight costs will be applied to your order. You will receive tracking details once dispatched and you will be contacted by the freight company to organise delivery.

    • Some products and regions may require a custom quote by our team so please contact us via chat or email.

  • How Factory Collect Works

    • When checking out please select FACTORY COLLECT. 

    • Once your product is manufactured, packed and ready for collection, the factory will notify you an arrange a time for you to pick it up from our factory in Brisbane.

    • Please be prepared with an appropriate vehicle to collect your kit. Sizes and weights are found on the product pages, or you can discuss with our friendly staff what to expect.

IMPORTANT: What You Need To Know

  • You will receive tracking and a call to arrange drop-off.

  • If you have opt for Depot Collect, please be aware you will have 48 hours to arrange collection once it arrives at our chosen depot. After this period you will be charged a daily storage fee by the depot.

  • Home Delivery is an 'Assisted Delivery Service' and based on the size and weight of these structures (flat packed), an able-bodied person will need to be at home to receive the order.

  • Someone will need to be home to accept delivery. If however, someone is not home, then the delivery will be deemed failed. Failure of attempted delivery will result in re-delivery charges.

  • Home Delivery is to the front door only or 6 meters from the truck (not the backyard) due to regulations. Deliveries cannot be taken to the rear of a property due to OH&s

  • So it is important to be prepared to help on the day to make sure you can place the cartons where you need them.

  • We do delivery Australia-wide with the exception of all Islands.


  • Garden Sheds & Storage Units

    • Your garden shed will be dispatched within 4-7 business days once payment is received.

    • Transport works in 3 to 10 business days term, depending on your location. We are based on the east coast; so Perth, for example, would be longer compared to Sydney and Melbourne.

Depot Pick-up Windows

Once you have been notified that your shed has been delivered to your nominated depot, you have 48 hours to organise pick up. You can pick your shed up Monday – Fridays from 8am – 2pm.

Home Delivery Windows

Home deliveries are done Monday to Friday between 8am – 5pm.

Home deliveries in any other areas are done by the courier during normal business hours on weekdays only

Smartlockers, Garages, Workshops & Carports

  • Our Smartlockers, garages, workshops and carports are 'made to order', therefore manufacturing can take up to 4-weeks.

  • After manufacture, please allow up to 10 business days for delivery of your product to freight depots.If you’ve chosen to have your steel building delivered directly to home or site, just be aware it may take a little longer for the freight provider to coordinate.

  • Spanbilt have a great turnaround time with very limited defects, so you can rest assured that no matter what product you choose, it will be delivered within the designated time frame and in good condition.

Depot Pick-up Windows

Once you have been notified that your shed has been delivered to your nominated depot, you have 48 hours to organise pick up. You can pick your shed up Monday – Fridays from 8am – 2pm.

Home Delivery Windows

Home deliveries are done Monday to Friday between 8am – 5pm.

If you've chosen to have the product delivered directly to your home it will arrive within 9 business days of purchase, although most of the time it arrives sooner.

Just be aware it may take the full 9 business days to receive your product from the time of dispatch.


it is important you act promptly when contacted by the Freight provider to arrange CLICK & COLLECT or confirm Home Delivery to avoid daily storage charges that will be billed to you. You have 48 hours to arrange collection/delivery from when they have contacted

you – please note it is your responsibility to arrange delivery collection with them once they/Mainfreight have contacted you.


Once your shed arrives please ensure to unpack and check parts noted in the manual within 7 days.

1) When unpacking your box, match the parts to the ‘Parts List’ in the manual to check everything is there.

2) Let us know of any damage to packaging or parts (this can happen during transit but is very rare)

3) Notify us of any missing parts, as generally, we can help locate them in your pack for you or on the rare occasion if any are missing we an express them to you.

Our replacement policy is within 30 days of receiving the product so we recommend you check the package within 7 days of receiving it.

What if your order doesn’t arrive?

  • While this is unlikely, if your order does not arrive within 9-business days of dispatch, please feel free to contact our customer service team on 1800 032 077.
